The problem is you think you have time!
I read this quote yesterday and it’s spent the last twenty four hours resonating within me. We all think we have time. We can go on that trip next year, we can tell that person we love them tomorrow, or maybe we can quit our jobs we don’t love and start doing what we do love… some day.
This quote really made me think about my own life and how much am I really living, or am I falling into a pattern of just existing? Am I letting life happen to me, or am I creating my life the way I want it to be?
I don't think really living necessarily means that you have to go on the most grand trips or adventures, or even have your dream job.
I think to really live is to be present and intentional in living.
Are you in each moment of your day or are you like a zombie and just existing, but not feeling alive?
I like to throw these questions out there to you reading this because I want you to think about your life. What are you grateful for? Who do you want to be? What are you passionate about? What days do you get excited about getting our of bed - and what reason are you excited? Those can be clues to what you need to do more of.
I think we need to be more conscious of being present and really living each moment of our lives.
I don't want to be a person who is at the end of their life and wishes they would have done something that I always wanted to do but never actually did it.
If I can do something now, I want to try and fail instead of wait until it's too late for me to do it.
I hope this inspires you to take action to start living more today instead of letting life pass you by. Because the trouble is we all think we have time to do it later, until it's too late.
How would you be spending your days if you knew you were running out of time?
