The early morning has gold in its mouth
For all those who dream of sailing the seas one day, this one is for you:
Mornings, for me at least, are the most productive time of day. I like to do some writing in the morning, when there are no distractions, before I check my email or blog stats.
People who wake late miss one of the greatest feats of nature, repeated in full stereovision each and every day - the rise of the sun. I love how the day slowly gets brighter, when the midnight blue turns to lighter blue, when the brilliant colours start to seep into the sky, when nature is painted in incredible colours.
I like doing my early morning swim during this time, and I look up at the sky and say to the world, “What a glorious day!” Really. I really do that.
Hey, and very significant benefit of waking up early is reduced stress level. When you rise early, it eliminates the need to rush in the morning. You can then start your day on an optimistic note and such positivity often stays with you throughout the day.
Getting up early instils you with positivity. A research has suggested that people who got up early were happier, not just for a short duration but overall in life.
By the way, morning yoga is a great way to start the day!
This little morning yoga sequence for beginners is wonderful for getting your blood flowing and your energy focused. The poses will strengthen and lengthen your body, and help you feel fit and flexible all day long in mind, body, and spirit.
I have always been delighted at the prospect of a new day, a fresh try, one more start, with perhaps a bit of magic waiting somewhere behind the morning.
